Him

Him

A Poem by Kathy Mc Cathy

With siren eyes and awkward smiles ,
She is lured to his rocky den .
Although his mane not as thick ,
As the others that seem fit .
But she still traipses around it's corners .

She knows, that time ticks till midnight ,
And he follows her scent of smell.
His predatory sense of caution blaring
Like the red lipstick she puts on for him.

His cunning charm in his boned skull ,
And his thick bones in his lean figure .
Her eyes avert from his held sight ,
She still dreams of his chestnut eyes .

She passionately dreams and questions ,
Why she ever so inhibited by words ?
His words , her liquor , and their bicker ,
Were the cherished unspoken touches

it just happens...we get sucked in...and can't loosen the feelings...we are paralyzed by love.
