Poetic effusions

Poetic effusions

A Poem by Kathy Mc Cathy

Each line designed to feel the raptures of bliss
These words say another but resonate with something unique
The brooding in the hollow streets fills with its resounds
Evoking images that have been so long buried

It’s a gush of ideas given a path to flow
Cultivating epiphanies and thoughts as they go
Deluging us in the overwhelming emotions
Never could this dampen our ardour

A line to an eye is different for each
A reader’s perspective with a different lead
Such grateful for the people who read these verses
Thoughts from the one who immerses

A great poet, once wrote. Poetry should steal the mind of the reader away from life. Poetry should make the reader ponder love, hate, war or peace. Should make the reader wander to a new place.

I loved the above lines dear Kathy. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

immersing in the versing...and yes, often epiphanies happen as we write and discover more about ourselves.
