EmmaA Poem by Kathy Mc CathyMy inspirations for reading a lot of books .Ms Woodhouse if you are who I claim to see A woman with impeccable tastes and bold interests Harriet , a child in her graceful arms Ol’ Jane made surely my time worthwhile Chiseled corners pages turning one by one Cut throat mystery binded in each word Mr Knightely seemed just like a companion in the start But in the end , Isn’t he who vowed till death do we part ? Emma , just a figment of Jane’s imagination The only bundle of sacred pages who stole my mind and heart away A true test stuck to her till the very end A painter’s brush , painted her path in every bind and bend Every word written with such wisdom feels every word spoken From Miss Taylor’s absence to a twisted happily ever after If I could have such a honour and pleasure to meet all the pieces of the part From Emma , Harriet , Mr Knightely , Elton to our Jane austen with the most powerful of hearts © 2021 Kathy Mc CathyAuthor's Note
