Convoluted Entity

Convoluted Entity

A Poem by Wallflower
"

Silly me.

"

Convoluted entity I be;

Not quite suited for a reality of “me’s”.

Not quite rooted in their history

That takes for granted, identity,

But hates all there is and ‘has to be’.

Convoluted entity I be;

For every soil hole I drop a seed

And each one sprouts more controversy,

A polemic garden inside of me

Always disrupting flowerbed sleep.

Convoluted entity I be;

Can’t see the forest for the trees,

Can’t see that my intricacies

Are coiled creations of hegemony.

Dividing by zero does not equal free,

Monocular vision may be able to see

Both sides of the paradox which, non-ironically

Is the source of the flux at the tides of my sea.

Oh, the struggle is all too relatable. Enjoy the fight. It certainly makes for great poetry. -:)... Some people wish they had some of it as well and most have none at all.
