The Box

The Box

A Poem by Wallflower

This neat little box
Contains all these thoughts--
Lined up, Stacked up,
Synthesized and backed up.

This neat little box
has a crack in the lid,
A sliver of light slicing through.
And the questions outside
Seem so crazy in here,
But that's what the lid's meant to do.

Cause' the light be the spark
From inside the box
To question what you knew.

And the doctors and scientists
And the scholars may claim:
"Its insane to think outside this box"
But history finds the most beautiful minds
Grasped and grappled these alien thoughts.

Call me crazy, I'm searching outside the box.

Hey, I have a poem with the same title too! Haha.

But anyway, I liked the concept of this poem; indeed, it's important to think outside of the box. I can sense that the character - or you - is starting to have a taste of freedom, and is ready explore the world.

Like what I said in your other poem, you should capitalize the first letter of every line. But other than that, it's great!
