Rise and Set

Rise and Set

A Poem by Wallflower

The sunrise isn't so pretty anymore,
No longer the prefix of another day
but the suffix of another gone,
Without period or comma; it rolls on.

The sunset isn't so pretty anymore,
No longer the suffix of another day
but the prefix of another to come,
Without warning or conclusion; it is done.
