Music ♫♪

A Poem by Wallflower
"

from my ears to my heart...♪ <3

"

Mellifluous melody, just a vestige of the rhapsody.
The tension and release, the chaos in the peace.
The contiguity and coherence, consistent with your state,
Waiting for the rhythmic cadence to conclude your fate.

This linear succession always holds its poise,
You begin to hear the sound absolutely void of noise--
Though it is in no need of a goodbye of a farewell
For in this composition it cannot survive nor can it dwell.

This joint agreement and concord takes you on a ride,
A dissonant aching chest- this harmony has pride.
Though every rose has its thorn it still smells just as sweet,
Cos' the constant interval wreaks surrender not defeat.

The flow of sound in time mystifies a steady pulse,
Honesty in dynamics, impossible to deem it false.

You will find that your mind becomes the music sheet,
A fine place in lost space where sensation and souls meet

A very beautiful and intellectually enriching testament to the power of music. A great deal that is abstract is made eloquent here; but eloquently abstract - which is rather how one might aptly describe music, period. Music is art and therefore abstract, and the writing here depicts and adorns this abstract to the exclusion of any science - and so making music from music, from one art form to another.
The concluding couplet exceeds a superlative.

I love the lyric flow and form, and the last lines bring a beautiful finality to your piece. So powerfully expressive!
