Change

A Poem by Wallflower

You fear your own reflection
Because the person staring back isn't true.
Your friends don't fear the unknown
Because they know the unknown is you.
Your face begins to blur,
Your essence is almost lost,
And all the things that filled your heart
Now only surface at a cost.
You're wretched and devoured
By everything you said you hate.
And when i strain to see your soul,
I'm afraid its just Too Late.

Interesting write, there's a good flow, I like the short lines. I like the thought and it was well expressed.

You have a typo btw -
Your face begin - Your face begins
