DistanceA Poem by OnlycallmeKathryn
All of these love sick poems
And none can relate to The distance that time Has created for us Like one day you're here And the next day you're gone And I won't be able to see you step a foot onto my lawn Until the next month Or maybe two People ask me how I do it Well, every time, I think about how they all say that love is patient But they never told me that I'd have to have the patience To wait for Y.O.U I hope that you understand That my heart bleeds for you Every damned time I have to see you Walk away I hope that you keep the vials In your pocket To give you strength to walk another god forbidden mile And I hope that you never forget I also feel the pain that you have in every foot step I hope you know that I get a little sicker every time that Time has to question our love Because I pull you in And my blood runs thicker through every single touch Because the fibers in my body Are trying cling to a part of something That they know is a part of me. So please never forget That one day we will have the time And I'll promise you My body, soul, and mind. Please forgive that clock, Please forgive that calendar And Wait for that day that The essence of our touch is endless and time has given up On distancing us. © 2018 OnlycallmeKathrynReviews
