Chapter 7

Kate pushed him away with a sudden power. She couldn’t bare the fact that he was stronger than her.

“Get out!” she hissed.

“No!” Simon refused. He reached for her again. “You have to admit that you like me doing what I am doing!”

“You are out of your mind!” Kate rolled her eyes. “You don’t know me and I don’t now you!”

“You know me better than anyone else!” Simon smiled. “You stalked me trough space for ages!”

“And you left me waiting,” Kate frowned.

“I told you I got stuck in the game,” Simon pulled away with a annoyed look. “I was going to come.”

“I was just standing there and felt so stupid,” Kate pushed out with a anger. “That was so humiliating to me that I never want to date again.”

Simon burst to laugh. He stud as straight as a statue, but his body was rocking with laughter. His stern face transformed from annoyed to satisfied.

“I hope you are enjoying the joke!” Kate hissed.

“Oh yes I am,” Simon grinned. He knelt against the wall, crossing his arms. “You are a hero now, Kate! Al tough your speech was rubbish!”

“What makes me hero?” Kate walked to her bed. She didn’t want to look Simon. He was the other side of her, but there was no way she was going to admit it.

“Nothing really,” he said simply. “You did what you were going to do anyway.”

“So why everybody think I am a hero?” she looked her white bedsheets instead of turning around.

“Because you are a brave woman,” Simon’s voice was serious now. “And stupid.”

“Stupid? Why is that?” Kate felt an anger taking over her. How did he dare to call her stupid.

“Well you made a decision to go after your clan mate without any further notice to your company,” he explained.

“Like anyone would have come to help anyway,” she hissed.

“I did came, Blue!”

Kate jumped when his hand touched her shoulder. How did he manage to get so close so quietly? She pulled herself free, but Simon didn’t give up so easy. His hands wrapped around her waist, he lifted Kate up from ground, forcing her back against his chest.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” she shouted. The feeling of him being overpowering her made Kate freak out.

“Making sure you are not going to punch me into my face when I tell you something!” he whispered into her ear.

“PUT ME DOWN!”

“You are exactly as I imagined you, Blue! So feisty and passionate!” he grinned.

“You really are the worse guy I have ever met,” Kate hissed and wiggled around, but Simon held her, walking over to the window.

“I like to think I am the only guy you have ever met,” he grinned and pushed Kate into the chair by the window. He knelt over to her, wrapping his fingers around her wrists like hand cuffs.

“Why are you doing this?” she asked, looking into the dark soul of the demon.

“Because I would hate to think you getting hurt!”

Simon’s face was stern once again. His dark eyes locked to Kate, lips close to her face.

“You have no right to me,” she pushed him away and made a try to stand, but Simon pushed him back.

“Didn’t say I had,” he smiled. “But you need to be careful. I would hate to think you get popped and loose your memory.”

“There is no evidence that it can happen!” Kate argued, wriggling her arms to brake free.

“Not currently, but there is always a chance,” Simon frowned. He stud up pulling Kate against her chest. “And can you please stop moving so much, its quite annoying. I am here to talk to you and I hate when you are not listening.”

“This is not talking!”

This was something Kate never liked- being under someone’s control. She had always made her own decisions, starting from the very early age.

“You did like me before,” Simon smiled. “What has happened with that feeling?”

“I never said I liked you,” Kate pulled herself free from him. She stepped back too quick and fell into the chair.

Simon grinned, stepping closer.

“You are so funny, Blue!”

Kate sent him a frown.

“I actually invited you here to talk about important matters, not assaulting me!”

“There is misunderstanding between me and you, Blue!” Simon knelt down to force her eyes to his. “I am not the bad one here and not the evil one.”

“Are you trying to tell me that its my fault that you are making me feel so uncomfortable right now?”

“Uncomfortable? Why is that?” Simon’s face was full of confusion.

Kate looked the floor. She didn’t know how to explain her feelings. She didn’t really know what she felt anyway. Simon was someone who deffenetly had some secret power over her and it made Kate feel confused.

“Because you are overpowering my mind.” Blue blushed when the truth escaped from her lips.

“Am I really?” Deadly smiled and his face was full of satisfaction. He obviously enjoyed the part.

Kate forced her eyes to his. She was not going to give up so easy. Yes, she had just committed what she really didn’t want to, but it was not going to be an end of the world. There had to be a way out of every situation. Normally Kate knew how to find a best way to pull herself out of embarrassing conversations, but this time all she could have thought was the darkness in Simon’s eyes. They sank her life craft into the deepness of the ocean.

“Why are you so full off anger, Simon?” Kate shook her head making a try to escape from the death of the darkness.

“What you mean with that?” Simon backed off and stepped away from the chair, turning his back to her.

Kate knew she was onto something now and she wasn’t going to let it go before she got what she wanted.

“Well I can see the deep anger in your eyes every time you look at me. Just like you hate me so much.” she started. “There must be a valid reason for that?”

Simon laugh loud. His voice sounded rough, just like he had been drinking for days non stopping.

“As far as I am concerned its you who hates me with no reason,” he replied. “Or should I say because I left you waiting in the real world.”

“I don’t hate you,” Kate rolled her eyes.

“So why are you so mean to me all the time?” Simon turned around and grinned.

“Me and mean? How?”

“You don’t want me to be near you, my darling!” Simon stepped closer again, kneeling closer to her, braking the space between them.

Kate pushed her back against the seat, trying to squeezes herself further away from him, put he came closer inch by inch until his face was so close that she felt his breath on her cheeks.

“I never said that,” she pressed trough her lips.

“Oh no you didn’t say that, but you act like you want to run away from me,” Simon smiled. His sweet breath- smelling like a mint chewing gum- brushed against Kate’s face with every word he said. It made her feel dizzy.

“I can if I want,” she hissed slowly. Kate really wanted to escape.

“No help,” Simon laugh. “I could easily catch you.”

“No, unless you have run marathon recently,” Kate teased. She felt a sudden hope goming over her. Maybe Simon wasn’t as bad as she wanted him to be.

“You really are going to run aren’t you?” Simon frowned.

“And you are going to try to catch me aren’t you?”

“Well I am not just going to, I will catch you, it doesn’t matter how much you believe that I cant.”

Kate rolled her eyes and reached her left hand out to push Simon away from her. For her surprise he crabbed hold of it, kissing her palm. His lips burned every inch of her hand, but the feeling of being desired made Kate shiver.

Why?” she whispered, pulling her hand back, making a try to stand.

“Why what?” Simon sent her the darkest look she had ever seen and Kate fell back to her chair.

Kate felt like her breath was taken away. She wanted to close her eyes and escape to the furtherest part of her mind, but the power of Simon made her hold on the gaze. The anger was mixed with true longing for a love and hope. Feeling so powerless Kate surrendered to Simon, letting him come in her mind.

“You have a such a powerful mind that it makes me want to connect to it for rest of my life,” Simon whispered, before he knelt so close that his lips touched Kate’s. She closed her eyes, making no effort to fight back this time.

Suddenly, Simon pulled her out of the chair and wrapped his arms around her waist, hoisting Kate up to his lap. His lips were greedy like he had never kissed anyone before.

But before he could have lied her on the white bed, there was a disturbing sound of knocking on the door.

“BLUE!” Destroyers voice sounded annoyed at the other side of the door.

Kate pushed Simon’s lips away, giving him a i- am- sorry look. He moaned with disappointment, but let her go.

“He better have a very good reason to disturb us right now!” he hissed, crabbing her hand.

“Hey!” Kate protested. “Not a best idea to show up right now!”

Simon gave him a growl, but backed of and sat into the chair. Kate grinned secretly and opened the door.

Destroyer towered over her when he entered the room.

“What is wrong?” Kate asked.

“Nothing much,” Destroyer said looking around in the room. His eyes stopped on Simon and his face turned red. “Bad timing?” he whispered.

“No, we were just talking,” Simon lied smoothly, but his voice was full of anger. He stud and walked past both of them. “I will see you later, Blue!” he managed a fake smile and walked out.

“Talking? Really?” Destroyer grinned. “Only five year old will believe that. What is going on, Blue?”

“Nothing you would be interested of,” Kate avoided the answer. “Tell me why did you come here?”

“Well, you never believe me when I say it, but I think we have a new member and she is very furry!” Destroyer laugh making Kate grin.

“I bet she is very lovely,” she assumed. “So when am I going to meet her?”
