an oddity

an oddity

A Poem by Katho28
"

An observation in its tiniest form

"
It's odd how
those closest to our heart
so careless with their words
litter our cheeks
with violent tears

while it's the strangers
so gentle with their words
who bring the blush to our skin
and curl to
our lips.

Yes indeed, quite often it's those closest to us in our lives that hurt the most !

A pertinent point, poetically penned !
