Tequila?

Tequila?

A Poem by Kat Mandu
"

This is the first poem I've written for a while and it's helped me get rid of alot of excess emotion I've been feeling at the moment.

"

Like a shortness of breath,

A small echo of death,

Deep long into the star filled night,

Enthralled within a bloodless bite,

The silence come dawn unnerves my soul,

My heart breaks into pieces, Lord swallow me whole.

I don't care what you look like, or what you're wearing,

I only want you as you are;

The fun, the pain, the swearing.

Dressed up nice to go and flirt,

Or come in fresh covered in dirt,

All the time like f**k it hurts.

It's agony, but you're unaware,

Tear out my heart; it's naked and bare,

Only in your hands.

Shattered on the floor.

Emotions like never before;

So intense,

So immense.

Punching at walls,

Clawing at hair,

Scratching at skin until it bleeds.

To my knees I fall,

No thing is fair.

The hand which tries to take my soul succeeds.

I sink so low.

So alone,

So broken.

Words need said remain unspoken.

Silence buries me like dirt my coffin;

I must let go-

I cannot.

As always, critisise, whatever. Note that "No thing" is not a typo, it is read as two words, not as the one word "nothing". ^_^
