Pretty Little Monsters

Pretty Little Monsters

A Poem by Kat Mandu

I was lost, little and alone,

Gender gone, no true home

Eyes closed,

I keep mute,

Time to execute

Always silent,

A life of violence.

Genocide,

This quest of mine,

Slay the monsters,

It’s no crime.

I go, go like all the others

But unlike them, I shall not die

I am the one, the fallen one,

Never satisfied, never done.

Not complete,

I weep in defeat.

Hero is what they call me,

Killer is what they call me-

Perception is a b***h sometimes.

This tale of mine

Trapped underground

You will never know,

Or hear a sound.

I will destroy,

Hopes and dreams.

The blue of sky runs red with their blood.

Like a wicked flood

Ruin and rain

Save it for plague time.

I mean play time.

Haha.

Little laughter,

Silly slaughter.

As simple as 8bit.

I broke the plot,

Time to quit.
