A dull color has set the scene Feet seem too led filled to move forward -- Forced into this change Unsure how to act now... How to feel... Left to figure this out on my own -- Darkness once again taps on the shoulder Body chills sink deep to the bones Nothing but a piercing emptiness behind And all around... Brutal and frigid... -- This world is forever opaque Solitary, bleak, ashen... An obscure void that once had life Left ghostly images of what was Of what was lost in this time -- Heavy feet trudge forward
