rain
A Poem by
K.
quick little write about the weather
slowly slipping silver
it waltzes down the pane
a pitter patter pompous march
the dances of the rain

It's interesting having our thoughts analyzed... the word choice we use. Ever wonder about the kind of couch a thought must lay on? Do they have to make counselling appointments? Follow-ups? And if they DO change - do they still exist to be remembered?
I liked your take on the rain - reminded me quiet days.

This could be a right up there with "rain, rain, go away," a hundred years from now! I couldn't help but put a musical melody to the words.

I love the rain. This little verse captures that exquisite strut down the pane quite nicely.
Well said.

Like lovers making love,
painted and framed,
I hear it softly roar,
a drumming, that can not be tamed...
Lovely write, Katherine, I wish it could be longer, but the description and metaphor was wonderful, nevertheless.
