I see a woman, tears streaming, standing at the mirror on a rainy day that more than perfectly describes her emotions. She is in a wedding dress about to go to the alter with a man she doesn't truly love. The "slowly slipping silver" is her taking off the engagement ring given to her many months ago as it "waltzes down the [pain]" of her soul and she can hear the "pitter patter pompous march" of her bridesmaids down the aisle. She decides she's not ready for this and runs away and joins the "dances of the rain[s]"

I liked the simple straight forward way this is written. Katherine I feel that I can see almost feel the drops as they slide down the window pane. I loved it.
