Wear these scars as if they were diamonds

Wear these scars as if they were diamonds

A Poem by Katerobber

I would desire to,

tear out these scars,

And wear them like diamonds,

I wish to tug the burnt inside out,

And wear it like pearls,

People would stare,

Gape and gawk,

But I would wear them like emeralds,

Rip the pain out,

And wear it like sapphires,

Show my displays,

My memories,

As if they were jewels,

I would tear out these scars,

And wear them like diamonds.

really good!! The idea that pain is how we learn and grow, and something to be proud of, i.e. our abilities to overcome and survive, really good!!
