Bells of Snow or Sound of SnowA Poem by Kate RutaThe beautiful night was icy I did not mind. Dreary and dismissed By the magnificence of the shadowy unprotected sky Light of love from the moon upon my face. To be touched by the warmth like a mother’s first touch. Heavenly bells ring through the echo Of the stubborn breeze. The snows phantom sound Staying still and silent Ding-ding of the elegant beauty that, Unlocks my heart. The peace of the flakes in the dark. Held together by dreams. To be warmed by the breeze. As I stay here and listen to the snow talk. © 2013 Kate RutaAuthor's Note
