Go Forward

Go Forward

A Poem by Kate Ruta

Which way to go?

Should I go to the left?

Or the right?

I do not know,

Where it will take me.

I do not know,

How long it will take me.

Who will I meet on the way?

I might not even meet someone,

On the way. To where I am going,

I do not know.

Should I go right?

No no no, that’s not the way to go.

I should go to the left,

Right?

Maybe- who knows.

I want to go somewhere,

But I don’t know where yet.

But I can’t know where,

Since I don’t know,

Where they lead to.

I guess it will be a surprise,

On where they lead to.

It time to choose now,

Which way to go.

Left?

Or

Right?

I choose right.

I walked- and kept walking

Do I dare to look back.

No! Don’t! I thought

You’ll change your mind again.

I kept going, trying not to turn my head.

I started to turn then-stopped and looked back

Ahead in to keep following.

I don’t know where I am going

But I am gone. I will keep looking foreward

No matter how much I want to look back.

I hope this right was right.

Just keep my head up-

And keep going-

Going forward.

A wonderful, delicate yet strong, sense that has no words in the dictionary that could define the feeling of what it's giving off. Pawsome masterpiece. ;)

This is very nice, and you've captured that intangible sort of frantic, fleeting quality which is somewhat difficult to do in writing. You have a clear and distinct image here and you've managed to express yourself fairly well. Good work.

Wonderful write.
You have chosen the best decision for looking forward.
I like some explanation for using 'wright'
I think you may check the meaning of 'Foreword' and then replace it by 'Forward'.
Thanks for the lovely write and sharing with us.
