The Snow of Wedding Bells

The Snow of Wedding Bells

A Poem by Kate Ruta

The stubborn breeze that travels throughout time.

The snow of the divine white flakes that fall to the ground.

The moist flakes that hit the ground,

The peace of the flakes that come down,

The peace of the moon glissing in the dark.

To stay here and listen to the snow talk,

The snow phantom sound from afar brings bliss to one

The phantom of the sound bring a calm silent sound of comfort.

The night was icy but I didn’t mind.

I felt dreary and dismal in

The darkness of the night.

To hear the mellow wedding bells.

The bells in the icy distance.

On a rainy night, offers me a fiery spark

That we can hold together and dream.

The smell of the icy air in the darkness of the night.

Season of mist and mellow fruitfulness.

I have stood still and stopped to hear the sound.

Hearing the bells dinging lightly in the distance.

Warmed by the sound of the bells, the love

To live for the loving touch, to yearn-

Yearn for the beauty of those sounds.

The night was calm as the snow fell

Peace lay upon the ground

As the moon reflected

The moist air makes one stay in bliss

The divine beauty of the stubborn oak tree in the night

Danced acrossed the ground had a phantom shadow

Rising into the deep blue winter night sky.
