No EntryA Poem by Kate Henderson
Like the darkness in your eyes
Comes a great sacrifice A merciful taunt In a fluorescent light A mystical purple tree In twilight Daylight A moon crescent in its transcendence A silver beacon That ignites the night Pretty, glistening Over the still clouds A graveyard delight With an iron gate Land of living is barred from entry Do not trespass Are they talking? Do they not want to be found?
