Crystal Death

Crystal Death

A Poem by Kate Henderson

Force the diamonds from my eyes
Bleed the rubies from my brain
Tease the skin
Taut and rigid
Paper doll
So light and frigid
Massacre of my heart
Each beat an unending nightmare
Peel back my nails
Let my veins show their colours
Mix my sapphires with your cold hands
It's like building castles in the sand
Times hourglass stands still
As you awaken the demon locked in
I sit and stare as the
Iron drips from my eyes
Emeralds pulled from
The circle of disguise
Masquerading for the ball
As you turn to elegantly fall
Keep your amethyst amaranth
For all pleasure is mine
Drink my blood
As a Vampire would
Does it taste like wine?

Dark, creepy and evil, I love it!!! May the Pandora's box of your work and the power of your pen infest the motal realm with the flavor of your interpretation of darkness
