The AftermathA Poem by Kate Henderson
Drink deep in the cave of wonders
For those who seek eternity May have forever Midnights majestic Across the fire light Can sing the sirens to your doom The fear of the unknown In the deep colossal depths Of rock and sand Thoughts of hidden secrets Lie close at hand Forged from the ashes of Your darkest nightmare Calls the witch hounds Of the Ancient times Who ruled the lands The cave is waiting For those who choose to Venture into its uncharted path What will you find But the secrets of Your own destiny Leaving the remnants of The Aftermath
