Death Tower

Death Tower

A Poem by Kate Henderson

Bring forth
The blood of the pure
From the gargoyle in the tower
Crystal tomb
Of imperial death
Leaks from the garden of white
Sparkling crystals fall
From the ancient sky
The darkness invades the path
Secrets locked inside
The chamber
Forever to be hidden
Spawn of the demon
Calms the cruel mind
A world henceforth
Thus performing torture to the kind
Battle spirit
Of the forgotten
Autumn Winter
Summer Spring
The black is pure
For vengeance cannot speak
It brings silence to the grave
