Whisper To A Scream

Whisper To A Scream

A Poem by Kate Henderson

Standing in the mirror
She screams
Falling to the floor
Blood drips from her battered limbs
Life has eaten her sanity
She whispers to death no more

She can see him
Smiling at her with a grotesque face
Standing in the mirror
No whisper can escape
She only screams
