SlaughterA Poem by Kate Henderson
Total slaughter, total slaughter
I won't leave a man alive La dee la die genocide The clock strikes ten I have arrived Enjoy the feast fear the beast Seven heads leaves thousands dead You cannot hide So run far east This will never cease A gun shot rings in the sky Let your soul subside We all play but the children cry I'm on your side Total slaughter, total slaughter I won't rest until there's not a man alive La dee la die perfect suicide The clock strikes twelve I have arrived Author's Note: I wrote this poem in response to the March 2011 colossal Earthquake and subsequent Tsunami in Japan.
