Hide'n'SeekA Poem by Kaitlynn Ronas (Pandora)Be afraid of the dark.Rate my words as if they were your own.
Rate my words as if you saw them being written down.
Rate not only my words for if you saw the terror behind them,
these words you would never see to again.
Entwine your body motions with your silk moonlit skin into the words.
As they become more you then me,
rate my words for there is nothing else to do.
Let darkness play its tricks on you.
Twist and weave, be closer then your conscientious would plead you to do.
Let your heart beat be heard, so then we are to know that one is still alive.
Only when you are to feel a shadowy presents, you have your soul back.
You wish to scream, fight, Run!
But you can only stand there, in the middle of darkness
with only the feeling of not being alone sinks in,
feeling as if an anchor has tied its way around you,
never to loosen its hold till the medal has hit the ground.
This ground is no where in sight,
though sinking- it will proceed.
Then it starts to rain, seeming the heavens pity you,
crying so you know you are not alone.
For the tears beats down just as your heart thunders through the rain all as one.
Thup, thup, thup, thup..thup, thup,thup,
It would be the most beautiful rhapsody ever, but for the fear in the music.
When you feel a person standing before you,
as they lean forward you can feel your heart Stop.
There lips stand inches from yours,
eyes digging deeper into your mind.
Your lungs clench as you hold air in.
As it moves even closer,
closing your eyes to whatever doom is set in place.
Finding your back against a brick ice cold wall,
it places its hands carefully on both sides of your body.
There were reasons why you were in such horror that night,
as you felt, like the shadow before you was like a leech
or was it.
Nothing made sense.
The humdity was so hot that not even a ice cube could have last 5 seconds here.
But those were the facts,
as your senses widen you know this darkness on you,
holds the cold.
There was someone with you, though
there was only one heart beat heard through the rain.
If this is what death should feel like,
there was no other death like it.
Waiting, staring, knowing, feeling, nothing could have ready'ed you
for a moment like this in your life.
Rate my words as they suck the life from you,
Stop the pain from entering, as you set your soul free the darkness seeks to envelope it.
Entwine your thoughts of fleeing screaming fighting into your silk moonlit skin.
Bursting into a heap of flames,
you let darkness play its tricks on you as you now are it,
when finally the fires consume us to ash. © 2012 Kaitlynn Ronas (Pandora) |
