An Angel

If I were your angel,

I would never have left you.

If I were your beautiful angel,

I would never have left the pain.

If I were your holy angel,

I would have been there with you when you went to heaven.

Though live with grief,

no longer live at all.

I was your angel,

because I shined at your side.

I was your beautiful angel,

because it hurt me just to know you hurt.

I was your holy angel,

because I stayed here in life,

holding on.. till heaven has need of me.

Yet then you will be waiting..

As I for you!

We will Embrace as when I was young,

playing, laughing, running free, doing anything we wanted to be.

All we be good as long,

as we wait.

In heaven for me, that embrace, that love that departed this life.

Waiting is all we can do.

When you are patient for death,

to leap upon your soul.
