Intertwined

Intertwined

A Poem by Kate Elizabeth Brown
"

A two year journey. So much can change.

"
So here we are
Two years later
Lives and circumstances
Intertwined.
Yet the one way I wanted
And the one way I longed
For us
To be
Intertwined
Is the one way
That I
Cannot have.

One of my favorites write! I love the memories feat. (with) past... excellent write. Sometimes, me too get lost in the past, usually when i`m alone, and ..trying to re-define the concepts of time starring at the wall-clock..listening to the beats of it.. at all. How the time walks away of our lives`s a fun to realize to me because when we compare the past with present or the present with past, then we come to know, how much & many changes we`ve got in our lives in the short period of time (in the one-two years) .. so, yeah, it`s good to know but at the same time, it hurts when we remind some worst time and get emotional with the time to recall the old bad memories of past-life.. So, then I think, we should keep this thought on the mind... "Lost time is never found again" which`s given by - Benjamin Franklin. Because, there`s always a motivation behind the thoughts the creative minds generate with the beauty of life... and love. Well written, Kate.

Short and awesome! I think most people can relate to this sentiment one way or another, but it takes someone special to express it so succinctly.
