In search of a better sky

science fiction poem

We left The Red Planet in search of a better sky.

Like in old times all ships as birds will

Go to New Sun. Migration for a better life,

For a new star with oxygen. As promised

Land this time proposed by science.

To move, to never stop on the ground.

We lost the ground in first place

When our Green or Blue planet

Became a Black hole because

We never looked back to what we did.

And now, this Red Planet is no more welcoming

For us, as everywhere that we already stepped.

Seems wherever word, wisdom or wanderers go, things are rarely perfect. How sad is that - yet.. your language here has its own very special and knowing meaning, Kate.
