To find a rhyme

To find a rhyme

A Poem by Kate AKS
"

Inspired by Jean Passerat's poem "Villanelle (I lost my turtledove)"

"

To find a rhyme to turtledove!

To experiment or to be true?

To be prepared and wear a boxing glove.

To start each sentence as with glove.

To not be sad or come to blue

To find a rhyme to turtledove.

To be as flawless as a dove.

To make it weightless to stew.

To be prepared and wear a boxing glove.

To be so stong and not throwing the glove.

To add an attempt to see a view,

To find a rhyme to turtledove.

To show appreciation to dove.

To find proper word which do.

To be prepared and wear a boxing glove.

To see when you failed of.

To be sure to accomplish this few:

To find a rhyme to turtledove,

To be prepared and wear a boxing glove.
