A bully's poemA Poem by Katarzyna Slade
My cruel, vindictive tongue will scorn you,
You'll believe every word I say to be true. I will push you around in the playground, Kick dirt in your face whilst you are down. But I am just jealous, you'r parents were around. I will taunt, mock, you will be the joke, I wont quit, today it's you I will provoke. I'm not a nice person it's clear to see, My parents left me when I was a baby. So I take it out on you, you were wanted unlike me. Fear makes me friends and gets me noticed, And even though I will probably never confess My actions towards you are not in malice. See I used to be you, I was bullied once too, I hate to be me, spiteful, nasty and callous. But I will not show weakness, I'll pretend that I'm strong, Secretly I'm sorry, I know what I do is wrong. This is how I know to protect and defend. You will never know of how I wish to be your friend. Maybe one day in the future you'll let me amend. And you will know the truth, my game of pretend.
