Mask of Gold

Mask of Gold

A Poem by Kat Vanity
"

First hand experience

"
Delete me from your life, tie me a noose, lie to my face and erase your memory just so you can say I'm in the wrong. But I see through you, I see the plastic radiance of your skin, I see the manipulation behind your smile, I see the tricks up your sleeves and the sin in your eyes. I watch people surround you, idealize you like you're a queen, but only if they knew that behind the mask hides a witch, an evil spirit secretly casting negativity through out peoples bodies then toying with them like puppets. Only if they knew that you are the core of bitter hatred and distrust, confusion and fury. You're no Madonna, you're an empty body with a heart of ash and a mask of gold.
