Marilyn's Red Lipstick

Marilyn's Red Lipstick

A Poem by KatDarkness

A glossy smile glue-guns the

Inner ruins, doll-paint thick and

Sickly, run like blood; a haemorrhage,

A miscarriage.

---

Butchered and barbiturated

Bits of stardust; sugar-blond lady,

Chanel and angelic light,

A film of romance,

A coat of red,

All luxe and love-starved,

Deaden the scarlet,

Some like it hot. . .

I love it. Some people might not understand this type of writing if they aren't familiar with it and or understand it. But personally its amazing, keep up the good work.
