Lipstick Gods

Lipstick Gods

A Poem by KatDarkness

Media breeding anorexiqueens,

With vacant eyes and empty minds,

Such stupid tongues,

Such stupid lines.

Blind worshippers, praying and puking for

The lipstick gods, the plastic queens,

The slave drivers,

The white-tooth screams.

Weak minds wrapped up in magazines.

Rebellion in my ugliness,

Cold blood and mirror genesis,

With bright red smiles and a cold glass heart,

She watches as they fall apart.

They beg and plead against themselves,

Disposed of to the discount shelves.

Bitter as your diet pills,

Smooth bodies, artificial thrills,

Money eaters, fall in your Photoshop graves

And see how many lives it saves.
