Firestarter - Hell RaisersA Poem by KatDarknessPyromaniac, pyrophilliacI was a screamer, a cryer, an instigator, accelerator. Firestarter, Notebooks burning on the cross, Kerosene and petrol raining from clouds of smoke. A brick-red sky, the canvas of hell.
Hardened black lips, a life time with my face in front of the flames, Only a thin layer of make-up separates us now. Calloused, burnt and scarred. You take me as I am. Impartial as Satan, you see past the mask.
Eyes full of smoke and mascara-dust. Phoenixes die on blood-soaked ashes. Jagged stripes of amber devour the night, Facing into the fire, we are Hell-raisers. © 2013 KatDarkness |
