Insect Prayers...

Insect Prayers...

A Poem by KatDarkness
"

Dew drops on a spider's web, redeeming beauty in a wasteland of broken glass and rusted gates.

"

The manic prayers of an insect are

Brought to ‘Amen’ by a rainfall of blood,

Entombed in molten diamond,

Like the indestructible energy, it sparkles

In the minds of demons.

Thin gold,

A cold grave, a nest of glittering cannabis leaves,

A bed of hypodermic needles plucking

Souls from deep beneath the skin.

Webs deformed from muscle thread, gilded in mucus.

Lacewings fled,

Or froze with fear while spiders bled.

Author's Note

KatDarkness
A bit dreamy and probably doesn't make much sense.
