Someone Sees

Someone Sees

A Poem by Kat Collins

Transparent

Haze

You see the hidden wounds

Straining to break free

You hear the torrent of words

The stumbling confusion

Sensing the deeper need

Probing questions

Prying in...

You know right where to aim.

So close, too close...

But relief sighs...

Someone sees and feels

And doesn't turn away

Pushing urging take the step

Give up and let go

Past is past

Present is now

Release

But how?

Sometimes it takes another's insistant prying and poking to make us see the real problems and sharing them often leads to leaving them where they belong, ~ lost in the past ~. Let your friend in and head forward for tomorrow holds new promise and the past just wasted words. Loved the depth and the emotion of the poem, keep em' coming
