Nittany

Nittany

A Poem by Kat Collins

ry stripes of silver and umber

White dipped paws with no claws

Long drooping whiskers painted white

Twitching tail with end black as night

Sniffing nose of softened pink

Catching wafts of people stink

Perk ears alert as sonar

Following sounds of each donor

Creeping crawling stalking hide

Pouncing bounding chomping wide

Darkened rooms a place of wonder

Watch your toes in the land of down under

Cuddling rubbing purring time

Sleeping curled by my side.
