Our minds, full of nothing, total darkness only concentrated on one idea. Wanting, needing to remain safe, as if in a shell. However, all shells eventually crack. What happens when one's reality begins to crack like an eggshell? All that's needed is a small nudge before life changes as you know it. Getting out of your shell can be great, but getting out and being greeted with death makes your shell two times thicker. Even with the extra protection, the smallest thing can make us crack, something as small as a lie told to as a child, only to grow up and realize the truth. The truth as startling as death, and he asks,"Are you ready?", and we answer, "Of course not, is anybody." and finally we shatter and reality sets in.
