A Sirens Call (Part1)A Poem by Kastor homesMy attempt at a poetic story abut a sailor who hears a cry from a siren, it will be a multi part story hoping to use different forms of poetry, success or fail the ultimate aim is to learn somthing. On the loch, free of tides where the water falls away to the deep it is said that's where the siren bides, in a tree on solace isle, sound asleep. when the winds fade to nothing, and water settles to a calm, fishermen, tell tales of something, a beautiful song, a melodic psalm, for a tune would ride the water, in search of a sailors ear, about a farmers abandoned daughter, stranded alone in despair and fear. compelled are those, that hear its woes, to ready sail and raise an anchor, to follow sweetness into darkness, headfirst into disaster, the full moon now commands the night, and harr transcends from sea to land, a young man hears this woman's blight, and is in receipt of her command, "come sailor come sailor, for i'm in need of a hand, come sailor, come sailor I am trapped on this land, terrified, surrounded by water as far as I can see come sailor come sailor come rescue me" now fire in his heart does burn, ablaze its burning through his chest, for now he knows some ones' in peril, he must make sail, he can't resist.
