Our Love

the tell of my old relationship

Our love cuts me like a knife,
Shredding my heart to pieces.
You used to be my needle and thread,
fixing me and keeping me from falling apart.
But now you rip through me like I'm nothing,
pushing me deeper and deeper down into this hole
that I've dug for myself. Cutting me off from society,
leaving me in the cold trying to figure out how to get home.
