A poem that I did all by myself. :B I fail at poems but my friend Chris gave me the idea.
People are like books. There are good books. There are bad books. All the books are unique. Some books make you sad. Some make you laugh. Some make you mad. Some make you scared. How will you know which book is a good book? Well you have to crack it open and read it. Just by looks of a book, people will shun it. A good book doesn't have to have a fancy cover. And neither hard cover nor paper back, can truly tell you what kind of book it will be. Even some famous books may be bad. So, don't judge a book by it's cover. Because it might just surprise you.
You should be proud of yoursef! This was excellently written. I like the descriptions of the "books" and compared to people; that was very neat. And there's that old saying "Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover". That fits nicely into the poem. Keep up the great work Kasi!
Some interesting facts about me: I'm non-binary and use They/Them pronouns, I'm a Taurus, and I have severe depression that self-sabotages me every waking moment.
I've been writing since I was in 5.. more..
