Me + boys = Mess!!!

I have never had a boyfriend before because I'm afraid of boys. When I was in elementary school I was a chubby kid and I used to like this guy but he would never look at me. Until one day a "friend" told him that I liked him (what a friend, huh?), he was so ashamed that I liked him -that's what he told me in front of the whole school- that he started teasing me. He called me by names like Fat, whale, cow and etc. So now I like this guy and he is so shy like me, but I'm afraid that he would do the same the other guy did or worse because I do not know him that well. I talk to him but not that much because again I'm afraid!!! He is friends of one of my friends and she takes classes with him; she had told me that he is not like that but people can surprise you and I don't want to take that risk.

Very well done! Hey i think that you should get to know this guy really well. Just because hes shy doesn't mean he won't be your friend. Once you get to know him, maybe you can judge whether or not he could something like that to you. This way it's not a risk anymore.
