To LoveA Poem by Rhys Jacobs
You are an upside vessel
In a roaring sea, Each nourtical mile A reminder of the empty Air you hold. The space is nothing, The arithmetic of particles Dancing to the tune Of unrequited safety - Turn yourself and see. Be filled, drown yourself. There is no recourse. You are empty air. You are an upright vessel, Drowned. © 2022 Rhys Jacobs |
