A Lass Named LenoreA Poem by Karolyn MoorloveA morbid man loves a morbid woman
There once was a lass named Lenore.
She said, “See the lovely boar!” It was rather dead, But not very misread, She just couldn't say no to the core. There once was a lass named Lenore. She asked, “See the lovely boar?” Her humor morbid, I could not ignore it, But it made me love her all the more. There once was a lass named Lenore. She screamed, “Look, a beastly boar!” It was quite alive, And desired to rive, I fought it off for my fine Lenore.
There once was a lad named Abgore. He loved a lass named Lenore. His humor sordid, Most people avoid it, He loved until his life was no more. © 2019 Karolyn MoorloveAuthor's Note
