Language of FlowersA Poem by Karissa A. KellyWhile looking into the meanings and correspondences of flowers; a "language" of flowers usually used to create beautiful bouquets for those you love; I thought: what would a 'hate' bouquet look like?
Flowers have a language
one all their very own that may speak one's heart's desire or chill you to the bone. A floral gift is a staple, one we all recognize; the rose says "you set my blood on fire" declaring all your love Dahlias to forever claim yours sent from up above. Though not sweet as maple I hope my gift shall emphasize with Begonias for your deformity that violates my eyes. Nightshade shall share the bitter truth of your nature so craven and uncouth, add some dodder for your humor crude, rude and such a nodder serving true as moron fodder. It may be redundant here to now add some Belvedere, but believe that I am most sincere when I declare against you. But never could it be said enough how sheerly drear, austere and insincere that you are, my dear. Though this may sound rather tough I merely say what does appear. For it's all of you I despise and for tolerability; at best; you should steer.
