A Poem by Kari Kush

When I first heard you say "she never meant a thing"
my heart started to scream
so loud the pieces cracked
but then I heard that you said to her "I wish I could take it all back"
So my heart broke
the pieces fell
I just sat there
with no words at the time
I started wishing I never called you mine
I started wishing I was never there
I thought how unfair can you be to do that to me
to sit there and watch my knees bleed as I constantly fell at your feet
I tried so hard to get you to love me
I stopped loving me

Powerful and honest words for love. Love make us know paradise and teaches us hell. You allowed the reader to feel the emotions of the words. Thank you Kari for sharing the excellent poetry.
