Someone close to my...this is for you.

You tell them lies
Putting a mask on
You can’t be seen as the one with problems
Your pride has you in a chock hold
Whispering things in your ear
Tells you where to hide all your fear
Listening closely you follow it without question
The pride you hold makes you envy
Wishing what you don’t have
Willing to do anything for it
Just so you can paint your mask with better lies
Hiding that shameful face of yours with that sick disguise
Why live a false life
Am I the one who causes you shame
Am I the main source of your pain
I know you dread me
I'm sorry but I’m yours for life
I’m here to stay
No one asked for it to be this way
I know you would find another route if you could
That’s just how you make me feel
I’ll never know
I don't wanna live a life full of lies
I’ll make myself humble for the Lord
I’ll protect and love thoughs who are in need
No mask will ever control me
I’ll be the one who will one day set you free
That’s when the Lord gives me the sign to act
