lifes path

when life begins

your told a simple thing

to follow your parents

every rule no matter

what may happen

everything in life is a learning experience

everyday we learn something new

refresh on the old

and yet we still disobey

disobey our friends

our family

getting ourselves into trouble

trying to find a way

out of the mess we create

for ourselves

trying to find our way back to the path

our parents helped us to make

but yet we always forget

that our parents are just the to guide

not make our path for us

and thats our job

we create the path we take in life

we go astray

from the path that we start on

and always try to find a way back

but with each mistake

we learn something more

somethin that can help us

for the rest of our lives

something that is shown in many ways

love respect courage and strenght

This poem is very true, and it's straight to the point. The only suggestion I have is that it was a little difficult to read because I didn't know when sentences began or ended, or it may have been one long sentence, I don't know, but i thought it was great, and i hope to see more poems like this soon. Keep up the good work.
